Introducing Tucson Chiropractor Dr. Michelle Rupe-Switzer

Tucsan, Arizona chiropractor, Dr. Michelle Switzer

Let me tell you a fascinating story, one that I'

After months of begging my mother to take me to a Chiropractor, she finally gave in and took me to our neighbor's doctor.  The doctor did an exam and then adjusted my spine.  Not only did it remove the pain and restore feeling to my legs, but my headaches (which I had everyday for years) were almost non existent.  It was such an amazing experience that I went to Chiropractic school myself.

Dr. Michelle did her undergraduate work at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where she graduated with honors.  There, she was a Kinesiology major where she took classes in Pre-Medical sciences as well as Exercise Physiology and Psychology.

After undergrad, Dr. Michelle continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.  During her four years at Palmer, courses included biochemisty, human anatomy and physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Palmer Clinics that served all of the Quad Cities.  She also did a clinic abroad mission trip where she provided humanitarian care for the Crow Indian tribe in Montana.

Dr. Michelle with pediatric patients.

"We love skeptics and people who want a different approach to health," Dr. Michelle states.  We have many patients who have been told to that they would "have to live with their problems."  Our patients consist of tiny babies, athletes, families, seniors, just to name a few.  We try to explain everything as clearly as possible in advance, answer questions, and attempt to over communicate.  Our patients really appreciate that!!

Dr. Michelle's husband is named Paul.  Paul has his own stories as to how it has Chiropractic has changed his life (he loves to tell everyone too).  He is the office manager and a Licensed Massage Therapist at our office.  The patients love that we provide Massage Therapy in the office as well as Chiropractic.  Many patients feel the benefit that it gives their body and overall health.

In our spare time, we enjoy watersports and spending time with our dogs (who have also received chiropractic adjustments).  We also love the Arizona Wildcats.

We love Chiropractic and telling people about how it can benefit people's health.  We know how important is to our wellness, and we both can honestly say that we have not taken any medication in over 8 years (be sure to ask us how).  We love our weekly Chiropractic adjustments!

"Thank you for visiting our site.  We hope you enjoyed it.  I look forward to meeting you in person and learning how we may be of service to you.  Switzer Family Chiropractic is conveniently located in Tucson. Give our office a call or email me using the link at the bottom of every page."

Dr. Michelle Asks some important questions of interest to Tucson residents - Chiropractor Tucson Dr. Michelle Asks...

Can those with osteoporosis get chiropractic care?
Of course. When developing a care plan, we consider the unique circumstances of each patient. There are many ways we can adjust the spine. The chiropractic method we select will be best suited to your age, size and unique situation.
Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
