Dr. Michelle Rupe-Switzer- Chiropractor

Tucson chiropractor Dr. Michelle Rupe-SwitzerDr. Michelle’s Grandmother, who she was very close to, lived her life in chronic pain. She took 25 daily medications to help with various conditions including back pain. As she watched her health decline over the years with more medications being added, she knew there had to be a better way to health. Between watching her grandmother decline and her own health improve with chiropractic care, she started looking closer at calling chiropractic her career.

In the early 1990’s, Dr. Michelle was injured during basketball practice. This injury caused her to stop playing sports due to the pain it caused her body. She saw numerous medical doctors to address the issue, but nothing ever helped short and long term. After months of begging my mother to take me to a Chiropractor, she finally gave in and took her to our neighbor’s doctor. The doctor did an exam and then adjusted her spine. Not only did it remove the pain and restore feeling to her legs, but her headaches and sinus issues (which she had everyday for years) were almost non-existent.

Paul Switzer- Massage Therapist

Tucson massage therapist Paul SwitzerPaul is our Massage Therapist. He has over 20 years of massage experience. He has worked on a wide variety of clients of all ages over his career.
Paul grew up in Illinois and went to Western Illinois University where he was a NCAA Division 1 colligate swimmer. As a distance swimmer it wasn’t uncommon for him to swim 2 practices daily in upwards of 9-11 miles a day. With all the repetitive use as a distance swimmer, he suffered rotator cuff tear and was no longer able to swim competitively. Paul met Michelle around the time she got an internship with a chiropractor during her undergrad studies. This was about the time that he was dealing with his shoulder injury. Paul started to see a chiropractor at the suggestion from Michelle. The Chiropractic adjustments helped him a lot. The Chiropractor he was seeing also referred him to acupuncture and massage therapy. All of these modalities to make a full recovery from his injury. Paul still swims regularly and is a member of the Tucson Ford Dealer Aquatics Master’s swimming program. He continues to give back to the Arizona swim community by being a USA swimming Stroke and Turn Official.
